I have lived without a diaper sprayer for 18 months which in cloth diapering terms is a freaking eternity… With Addison getting older and eating a diet with far more solid foods, and my toddler still burdening me with gross diapers I dreaded cleaning… I knew it was time to invest in one.
I put in an order on Kelly’s Closet last week for the spayer and of course a couple odds and ends I needed — Some Rockin’ Green, a bigger wet bag – all that fun stuff. The best part was the kick ass coupon code: CLOVER which scored me a free FuzziBunz Elite as my mystery one size diaper for spending $69+!
It was a win all around!
My sprayer came on Friday and come Saturday I had it all hooked up and ready to use. I sat around all morning hoping for someone to crap their pants so I had a chance to really use it. I had to laugh because everyone – including myself – dreads a crappy diaper. Let’s be real here… no one wants to change a poopy diaper. Except me apparently!
Before the big purchase, I had asked some other cloth diaper bloggers who I certainly look up to about their experiences and if they had tried this specific sprayer. No one had so I thought I would give it a try so I could add some more input out in the internet world about the sprayer itself. And minus one small bump in the road which was immediately remedied I give the Knickernappies Diaper Sprayer two big thumbs up. Or five stars… however you want to look at it.
But here I am with the joy and pleasure of finally having a diaper sprayer hooked up in our bathroom and I can honestly say… I have no idea how I survived so long without one in our house. It is probably my new #1 must have for cloth diapering. I mean if you are starting off cloth diapering a newborn it really isn’t a big deal and can be put off — but once they are eating solid foods, you have to invest in one!
Of course it is just my opinion and I am sure there are many people who will survive without one. But if you can afford one – go for it!
I have taken pleasure since Saturday spraying sticky crap out of our diapers – and the first load of laundry I did was a pleasure instead of adding an extra rinse or wash cycle!
A couple perks of the Knickernappies sprayer? – Check it out on Kelly’s Closet and find out!
Installation:
Easy!I am not handy at all – and originally I was going to ask my husband to do it for me!
I didn’t feel like waiting and I am glad I didn’t because it look me about 5 minutes to get all set up with no issue!
If I can do it – anyone can!
Use:
Press the button and you are good to go.There is a switch that can turn the water off from the wall which is a huge plus – especially with toddlers in the house.
Yes, my boys decided to try and shower with it. Won’t make that mistake again!
Customer Service:
I had a minor issue I had to address with my sprayer in the first day I had it.The e-mail customer service with Knickernappies was amazing!
I have no doubt everyone gets the same customer service!
Overall:
I highly recommend the Knickernappies sprayer. While I have not tried any others – this one has won me over!
